youtubers talking about how they need 80TB of NVME SSDs always makes me laugh for this reason - buddy, people watch your videos on a second monitor while they work or on their phone through a sleepy haze. those pixels are bankrupting you for no gain.
The benefit of bad eyes is that I can hardly tell the difference between 720 and 1080.
