Last saturday I celebrated Canadian Girlfriend Day by watching a handful of episodes of Mission Hill and then Strange Brew.

Mission Hill is amazing, the episodes I watched were a little dated but held up for the most part.

Strange Brew is a timeless classic. I've seen it enough that I was quoting along with a bunch of it, but still found new subtle stuff to appreciate. It can't be overstated how even though a mental hospital plays such a big role in the plot it generally avoids many of the things you might expect an 80s comedy to include.
