I heard that it's easy to hack the 3DS. I haven't even touched mine in a long time but I think it might be good to try that. Not sure where to start! I do want to play doom on it though.

This site seems good, although I haven't tried it yet on account of needing to dig out an SD to USB adapter and a small screwdriver (the latter is only an issue for New 3DS).
