i wanted to make this a feature request based on the post i made here, which would definitely improve the usability of audio posts on this ol' website, and especially come in handy for events like the compo idea! and i always like making little mockups lol

incredibly tangential but the vibes of feature releases on this website feel super similar to having a webcomic/manga that you really love but that the creator doesn’t have the time to update super often. like, you’re perfectly happy to wait patiently even if it’ll take like 5 years to get to the really good stuff cuz you know they’re trying to tell their story in the best way that they can
super cool idea. only thing i'd add is a volume control because i really dislike having to adjust my OS-level volume whenever i want to play a Cohost sound embed.
oh yeah totally, i agree! guess i would just shorten the play bar and add the volume slide there or whatever--definitely much needed
