ive thought on this a bit and i imagine my gym leader sona is like, really deeply "about" becoming a ghost pokemon via whatever means. this leads to her finding a means to performing moves only specific pokemon can, and her first test of doing so while being guided by her mismagius goes a bit awry... not that either party is complaining
The TF fandom (edit: bodyswap does count as borderline TF, right) has a special definition of "awry" that actually means that i, specifically, will probably end up metaphysically obligated to yearn for the situation :3
That is a neat concept with a lot of cool possibilities for how it could work and what it could lead to and i'm very normal about it too
