Learning Blender with the hope of applying it to my music making
im not sure what daw you're using, but some samplers have a dump to midi/dump to piano roll/etc option, so using auto slicing/slicing by transient or whatever then dumping to midi and just rearranging some of the slices can be a fast way to add some variation which i use sometimes. i know it's possible in fl and reason, idk abt ableton/logic/cubase/any others but there's probably a way
also may i ask what the tips were? my pads usually turn out quite boring so would be interested lol
i basically lifted the advice from this video and adjusted to taste. also i opted not to use vital's built-in effects.

i use reaper so i might have to poke around. i don't think the sampler plugin that comes with reaper can do that. i like that idea though. if i can just keep using the piano roll for drums, that'd suit me down to the ground.
