It feels like one of those spam websites that just lists "You Won't Believe Which Celebrity Got Botox!?" and "Remember Him? He's Old Now!" links? It feels cheap, somehow? Does anyone else get this vibe?

the font is cheap looking, the padding between images and text is nonexistent, there's no shading to make the white text on images more readable. and why make the background color and the top story text color the same white? if this is for simplicity, then where is the random ass shade of purple on Features coming from??

italicizing media titles on a website all about media starts to get grating after a while especially when they're inconsistent (shouldn't I'm Just Ken be italicized too, its a song title?)

timestamps down to the minute for features but not the MAIN features who don't list an author at all, ads encroaching on reading space makes the dividing margin lines simultaneously pointless AND intrusive

they're using a circle motif for the logo and clickable social media elements but not for the content itself, as such the two most identifiable aspects of the site are "go off of the website" and "content sharing space with ads"

no identity, no visual focus, yet with the same metro boxes layout as windows 8.0. terrible. 0/10.
