occasionally I think about the thing that made me turn around my opinion on ds2 not even being something in the actual game itself but just me taking advice from a pvp guy on build making where he went "you should level hp a fuckton" so I just started doing that in the other games and when I went back to 2 that's just a habit I developed and it actually got rid of a lot of my frusration with that game because like, hp is kind of fucking important as it turns out and having a lot of it means you will have a smoother experience
