Aellae: Don't do it, don't look it up Mem.

BNL was one of the first live concerts by a non-Christian band I went to…back in like 2008 lol
The crowd was really hyped to hear the Big Bang Theory theme in person rofl
Sorry
Nothing to be sorry for! It's all part of growing older. I still like the music, it, and I, are just older now.
I listened to a lot of Stunt. but this was back before streaming so I never had the opportunity to check out Gordon, I should do that. I also had the Disc One compilation and yes, Brian Wilson is a masterpiece, though it's worth noting that was a live performance of it for some reason? I wonder what the album cut was like lol
The energy in the live version is almost... more electric I guess you could say? The Studio version has good energy, but feels more sedate. You can catch more of the individual instrumentation and vocals, but the stage version... I dunno how to describe, it's a je ne sais quois that the studio just doesn't have.
Me: Oh hey, this is Catatonia. I used to listen to it on that radio show playing hits from the 80s, 90s and today.
Huh.
Y'know, listening to this now would be like listening to 60s music when it came out.
Yeeeeah, that same thought struck me as well. I'm listening to what could be construed as /oldies/. Wanna chill on the porch in rocking chairs?
Okay, first thing we're going to need is a Beach House on the Nor-Cal Coast and some rocking chairs. I will let you know when I manage to manifest that into existence!
