This is either going to be spurious or stupid reasoning. Maybe both!
The more I look into it, the stupider the entire thing gets.
Apparently this wasn't even a real case. It was entirely made up, using falsified names, in order to specifically get this in front of the court - knowing they could use it to hurt queer people.
It's infuriating!!
Considering all the shit the Court refuses to deal with because of issues of standing, that's Fucking infuriating.
let the boycotts commence. I don't think these people understand how many of their customers are queer or queer-friendly. But then of course they'll be like 'The QUEERS are ruining my business! by not patronizing it after I announced that I despise them' Truly it is a mystery, Small Business Hitler!
I honestly have zero idea how much the bottom line will move for these people.
The only thing making me angrier than the court today are all the middling centrist "allies" tut-tuting as they waggle their fingers and say "But the first amendment!" as if that fucking means anything...
