Yeah, it was annoying as all get out, asks are nice, but the potential for abuse is an oomph.

The anonymisation of asks, I feel, is the most egregious vector for misuse with the implementation.
Yeah. Not going to be naïve and say "oh but I was hoping that there would be no issues on a social media site" but it was nice up until seeing that made my gut twist.
And a lot of people are going to say things like "oh don't let it bother you" or even "get over it" but why is it always on us to not "let it" bother us, and not on others to speak up about it and call bullshit, or better yet, on others to not do it in the first place? It bothers me! A lot!

Trust me, I'm paranoid about it, too. How many other people are they going to deem unworthy of you by their own fucking bullshit standards and try to bully and manipulate those people into staying away? Like I said last night, I was there was a way to report them regardless of it being anonymous. The most it seems like we can do, though, is turn off anonymous asks so that they have nowhere to hide, and ask others to ignore any rude asks and come forth if they have some particularly pertaining to you.
