It's odd, the depth I try to go to in catching up with cleaning on a vacation from work. The things that there's just not enough time or energy for ordinarily. All before working to make a big meal in two days time. One for which my partner and I may have one or two guests maybe, at most. Odd habits that baked in deep.

This old shark doesn't mind the habits so much, it's more the missing the friends who would have come prior to the Pandemic. I would have got a bigger Turkey, made more mashed potatoes. Had more sides... That's life though. We live to hope for a better day.

Bring tea for the Tillerman
Steak for the son
Wine for the woman who made the rain come
Seagulls sing your hearts away
'Cause while the sinners sin, the children play
Oh Lord, how they play and play
For that happy day, for that happy day
