The first image was done for us back in- I want to say the very early two thousands. There is an awful lot of headmate stuff that goes into exactly how the original Mesdina Casrean wound up being Aellae van Neru. Suffice it to say, we've spent a long while thinking on this, and it tracks. There is a ton of ancient history that could be unearthed explaining just how we got here from there, but here we are.
In some ways that does mean that Aellae has been with us for thirty years. That first picture of Mes is a little over twenty years by my reckoning. Which does make Aellae older than any of us had originally reckoned, which would explain certain plural things that do occur in our head on a daily basis. She's rather glad of her representation these days, and is glad that she found a way to sort of 'rep' her old look as it were.
