I've seen a few people going "hey what about Warner? what about Disney? why are you singling Nintendo out about IP stuff?" and honestly if I don't stop at "property is theft and a corporation is a tool to conceal your actions and avoid accountability" it's going to turn into either a screed or a manifesto
like you can debate me1 on the property is theft thing but you gotta concede that the current TV/streaming/gaming process of
Employee creates art > company owns art > company lays off employee > company scraps/releases project > company gets a tax break/makes money off of it for longer than the artist can expect to live > anyone using the art "improperly" can be sued for more than they'll ever own at the company's discretion
is pretty damn scummy
