You're only really seeing a surge because of all the new users, it's not always a world of webdev brilliance. This happened during public singups in July and it'll slow down again like last time
i remember a lil but from when i was doing frontend web stuff but itโs mostly lost on me because i was doing that when HTML 4.0 was the standard still so everything i know is pretty outdated
i'm the same, i can't hope to compete in that sphere so i won't bother haha
i just copy other people's CSS and randomly delete things until it does what i'm thinking, or something better. no learning required ๐
It's forcing me to reacquaint myself with CSS & HTML in small ways that are Useful I Do Suppose, because it makes me want to up my presentation game, which means working around cohost's currently-limited feature-set to make posts look and feel cooler
Like I have no aspirations to go hogwild on CSS crimes but I AM thankful that the ability to do so is here to stay
css has been practically useless for most people for the biggest part of the social media era so now that they get to eat their cake theyre making sure to make it the flex of a lifetime
