when i was 7 or 8 years old we got a VHS double feature that included the episode Welcome to Dead House and it gave me nightmares for weeks. but im sure its extremely stupid. to this day i can barely stomach horror in tv/movies
I had the same experience with the amusement park episode when I was very young, which I know now to be truly not scary at all.
Welcome to Camp Nightmare has an all-timer twist ending.
I also remember they did like an arc of totally original episodes (not based on books) that were really good. Looking it up, this was apparently called "Chillogy".
