Hello folks! I got my career focused in combat design (specifically working on enemies) by first working at Aspyr on KotOR:R and lately at Crystal Dynamics. It's a hard discipline to break into, and it's also a hard one to learn about!

So I decided to pay it forward and make this video series on enemy combat. Maybe one day I'll return to other topics (like hit reaction design, player mechanics design, or deeper dives on specific aspects of enemies or bosses), but for now, I hope this series can benefit anyone interested in the topic!

The first part is just laying out the fundamentals and introducing what the series will be covering over the next month or two as the next parts come out.
