FUCK the salmon run boat. hate the boat. they kept the fucking boat but not arc of polaris???? at least they got rid of the stage w the back n forth elevators that one was even worse. tho actually it wouldn't have been nearly as bad now that we've got egg tossing... fr tho the new stages are so good and the boat is miserable

zxfdsfsdfkj i had this same conversation during the last rotation. IT IS NOT BUILT FOR SPLATOON 3 SALMON RUN... the new bosses clog it up so fast its the new spawning grounds. my friends and i WANT THE ARC OF POLARIS SO BAD!!
i like it ok on high tide but on regular the elevators are so fucking annoying and everything that's on the boat is so crowded and everything that's not on the boat is so far away.... it feels like the bosses are all too far to be worth ferrying eggs and then suddenly they're all on the boat and it's way too chaotic... like obviously that always sorta happens but it's worst on the boat..... idk how arc of polaris would work out with egg tosses but at least i liked it in the first place 😭
yeh, it gets too tight which def works in favor of all the new salmy bosses intended to close in on you and specifically stop movement (ufo, fish stick, flipper flopper) bUT THAT ISNT FUN cuz it doesnt even feel fair. like, its unbalanced! for sure. at least with polaris you're on an open platform so if you need to escape, you can do so on every side, as well as ride the rails which DEF works better than the marooners bay where you're fucked as soon as the bosses get past the two grates by the basket. otherwise the only way out is off the sides n one has no way up while the other is on the elevator, like u mentioned, is annoying af. no chance to recover ink or breathe since you gotta use ink to get back to the basket n deposit eggs. 😩
