i was sewing right up to the line, but i managed to finish everything important and still get to the venue in time for pre-event photos! literally the only thing that went wrong was that a plastic vase got knocked over and cracked. the weather was a bit warm and muggy, but not super duper hot or actively storming! it was a fun party - the cake and drinks were delicious and the music was great. my family killed it decorating according to my specifications. the dj and photographer and bartender were all going on about what a nice event it was and how happy they were to be part of it. a lot of long-distance friends were able to make it, and it was fun seeing everyone at once even though it was sad we couldn't spend more time with each person. my mom was so excited to meet my online dnd group, haha. it was just a really nice overall! also i love my wives and now they're my wives!!!!
