woke up with a sore throat and feeling just a little more sick than colds usually make me feel, so i went and got a rapid and a PCR done, and the rapid came back positive right away.
last time my household had covid was also on halloween 😭 i feel so bad that ari hasn't been able to trick or treat since she was 2, which is too young to really understand it! when i told her we wouldn't be able to trick or treat this year either and we'd have a fun halloween party at home instead, she suggested we pretend our bedrooms are houses to trick or treat at instead, which is a very good idea. she's been so full of them lately!
i'm also extra disappointed because i was going to perform in a burlesque show on halloween night to help raise mutual aid funds for a local performer. i was really excited for my new performance idea... i guess i'll have to find some other show to do it at :(
