You can actually bake bacon in an oven. I use my convection oven for it, set to air bake and pat dry to remove excess grease. You can also cook cookies. I like the dutch oven method. Bury it in coals and it makes great cookies.
I had oven-baked bacon a lot growing up, it whips! but I've never heard of dutch oven cookies 😮 need to try that some time!
