why do i have to be the breadwinner of the family and my child's favorite... i had to finish up the pdf of my book today and it took way longer than i wanted so i wasn't even able to touch my other job during work hours so i did some things for it from like 5:30-9:15 minus 20 min to help with bedtime, and my kid was soo sad at bedtime bc she wanted to spend more time with me... ofc, even if i'd played with her from 5-8 (daycare pick up time to bedtime) she woulda still been all "noo i don't want to sleep i want youu", and i did spend time with her getting ready and to school in the morning, and picking up from school, and helping with bedtime, plus i'll make sure to do something fun with her after school tomorrow. so i don't feel that bad about being busy today. but it sure would be easier if she was willing to let anyone else get her into bed and then back into bed several times. or if i had time to do any chores or hobbies during the day and then could really focus on her all evening.
