I'm really proud of the website I made for my fan-translation of FAITH Chapter I, it's nothing out of the ordinary but given that I'm not a web dev it's the most elaborate site I've ever made lol

➡️ Fun and self explanatory domain
traduction.faith

➡️ Made to ressemble the game's interface
With the same monospace font, with a maximum body width that allow a maximum of 50 characters per line (25 in the game)

Before today it used to be wider and had justified text alignement, but I realized it looked wrong on a monospace font and made it look less like the game

➡️ Font toggle for accessibility
If people have trouble with the game's font there's a floating toggle on the top right of the screen that switches to the system's default monospace font instead, it uses JavaScript, but if the user doesn't have it available it will default to the latter, preferring accessibility over style

➡️ Compatible
Fully W3C compliant and just for fun I made the website as compatible as possible. It should look identical on any mainstream browser that supports localStorage, as early as IE8 or FF 3.5, and even with incompatible browsers it should still be fully usable even on like, NCSA Mosaic (there's not automatic redirect from HTTP to HTTPS either, since it's static content I don't feel the need for it)

➡️ Lightweight
Worst case scenario (depending on the font format the browser supports) it weighs 38,4kB, best case scenario just 11kB so it would load fast even on dialup connections

➡️ JPEG XL logo
Again, just for fun and because I like the format and wanted to experiment with serving a fallback, the logo at the top of the page will be served in the JXL format if the browser supports it. Else it falls back into PNG. Since it only has red or transparent pixels both files are only a few hundred bytes.

A lot of this is unnecessary and overkill but I had fun making it
