Settling in, making chosts, following people? Great! Now is a great time to consider subscribing to cohost plus! You can find the details in your settings page!

If you're a photographer or artist, you'll love the 10mb upload limit on images! If you like bad emoticons, say hello to host :host-joy: he kinda sucks but he's trying his best.

But more importantly than features, you're investing in a non billionaire/venture capitalist funded social media site, and you're putting food on the table for the handful of folk steering the ship.

I saw some grousing that cohost is a for profit site which I think is completely disingenuous, as we typically apply for profit to businesses that are designed to return maximum profit for investors as quickly as possible. For Profit shouldn't be used as a slur hurled towards a sustainably funded business who's goals are "keep the site up, keep the employees fed."

Anyway, this is certainly a better use of money than paying $8-20 a month for a blue check mark.
