Novelty games are a dime a dozen on Itch.io but I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to play Kim Wexler in a video game. Better Call Saul Kart isn't terribly inventive but it does make more of a sincere effort at being complete than most games that were made for a laugh, so kudos to them for that. The typefaces and character models and all that are fairly faithful to the source material. The game's roster contains 12 different characters from Better Call Saul, each with their own lil go-cart--a wheelchair for Hector Salamanca--and three separate tracks featuring locations from the show. If you get first place on all three, a special cutscene will unlock although I'm sad to report I will probably never see it. Racing games are no good with WASD, and there's no boost/drafting effect to speak of.
As you can see, my scores are abysmal. Which seems on-brand for the show. You see, no one wins in the game of crime.
