WORLD WIDE WEB A Demon Driving a Car A Rat Teases the Concept of An Electronic Mail Drippy E-mail

Wizard 1, the thing to know about her is that all her spells are Gatorade flavors: Rain, Glacier Cherry, Arctic Blitz, Riptide Rush

Wizard 2, their spells are all Mountain Dew flavors: Livewire, Voltage, Supernova, Cold Fusion, etc.*

Who's going to win here? You'd think Wizard 2, right? But is Wizard 1 going to be able to leverage certain elemental vulnerabilities to squeak out a W? Are there any flavors I didn't remember that could seal the deal?

*including the flavors that are only available at certain regional gas stations and so on

in reply to @sipnap's post:

see, against mountain dew I think Gatorade wins just because it's less specific, for instance, Glacier Cherry, whereas Mountain Dew has flavors confined to one region, for example Baja Blast, or one readiness condition, Red Alert.

Spark and Livewire seem like contenders, until you realize that Rain literally makes both of them harm the user. I think it's firmly in the gatorade category here -- wizard 1, that is. Just because they have more versatility and scope to most of the skills. Cold Fusion into Super Nova takes a lot of setup but if wizard 2 can pull it off that's a gamechanger, but it's sorta telegraphed well in advance so it would take some impressive jiggery-pokery to make it work.

THAT SAID: wizard 1 would be powerless against a Powerade-attuned wizard, thanks to legal precident, and would require the help of wizard 2 to survive.

baja blast seems like it would be a solid cantrip for a wizard. good call that all the mt dew lightning spells would get countered by gatorade's rain

I want to see a low-level gatorade wizard build that pulls off weird combos with Fruit Punch and their various other fruit spells (orange, strawberry watermelon, fierce grape, etc) to launch fruit projectiles at enemies

I imagine aside from Fruit Punch, that level 1 gatorade wizards get mostly utility spells like Cool Blue and Lime Cucumber and Lemonade that serve little combat purpose or act as support buffs

unfortunately I think Fruit Punch is limited to melee, which means you need to use some of the other flavors to cover your approach, or help you tank damage. I'm not sure there's much damage tanking, so clearly you just need to spam Rain with Glacial Cherry to create Sweet Sleet while riding the Riptide Rush to close the gap.

edit: I failed to see the brilliance -- you Fruit Punch the other fruit as projectiles. I think you're on to something.

wait what if you Fruit Punch a Cherry Glacier, does that make like, a giant shotgun or does it just break your hand. I think you've won me over to Gatorade Combat Superiority over everything but Powerade (as mentioned above, legal precedent means that Gatorade can't defeat Powerade)
