Visited Columcille Megalith Park with friends over the weekend. Lots of really cool rocks and misses and lichens, these are some of the best moss covered rocks I saw. The park has something like 90 installations I think? They’re all big rocks or rock structures though.
Columcille Megalith Park is also called “The American Stonehenge” and was built in the 70’s by a wealthy eccentric after he visited Ireland. Honestly, American Stonehenge is a pretty good title for it because what is more American than a rock garden from the 70’s being presented as ancient and mystical. It is a very nice place though, especially in the winter.
