After getting back from Ireland, my wife and I tested positive for Covid. We managed to go 3 years without catching it, but still got it in the end.
We’re getting by. It’s rough and I’ve had a bit of a fever (which broke) but I’m taking it easy. My wife got paxlovid, but they didn’t offer it to me since I didn’t have any high risk conditions. It’s frustrating that after three years they don’t have any other treatments but ‘weather it out’.
It put a damper on the trip, but I’m glad we made it home and can rest up here.
