I beat Pikmin 1 & 2 on Switch — just in time for the new game to drop later this week.
Pikmin 1 has a time limit, but it felt way easier to play and get everything. I just had to get at least one part a day and I’d be good. It was also fairly quick — I finished the whole game in a day.
Pikmin 2 was HARD. Those caves MESS YOU UP. I think I lost over 2000 Pikmin today. There was no time limit, so I could always take the time to farm more Pikmin, but getting through the caves was just brutal. Much longer too, if you go for everything. It took me about 22 hours game time, but that doesn’t count all the times I restarted in the caves.
It was my first time playing both games. (I’d played Pikmin 3 for the Wii-U). Glad I was able to get the chance and finish before Pikmin 4!
