@bazelgeuse-apologist made a lil plural icebreaker and I haven't talked about this stuff in any amount of detail yet so here we go!
Some logistics first...
- Y'all's collective name and pronouns, if applicable?
We used to call ourselves the Thief's Waltz Adventuring Company but that was way too much of a mouthful and didn't really represent us properly, so we started calling ourselves the Buddy System which pretty much encapsulates our vibe methinks. Collectively They/Them - Who are people most likely to be interacting with? What are their names and pronouns?
Meeeeeeeeee, the eternally frontstuck Bard(She/They), but also sometimes Doppel (She/They) or Ryan (He/Him) - If folks in the system have their own Cohost pages, what are their handles?
So far, just me and Doppel (@SmilingDoppelganger) - Is there anything that people should keep in mind when interacting with you all? (Like if you have memory issues, terms to avoid, littles who might be around, and so on.)
8We all communicate with eachother and/or are nosy and conveniently allow easy access to eachother's memories so we all know who you are and what you've said if our collective memory hasn't failed on us, and that memory can be pretty bad. Sometimes we don't even know who's fronting. I'm starting to think that's the case most of the time.*
Onto the fun stuff!
- Describe the system in one sentence! (Use as few plural community-specific labels as possible - this is less about perfectly describing what type of system y'all are, and more about your vibes!)
We're like if it took 12 people to pilot the shittiest most unresponsive mecha of all time. - What are some interests that y'all share? (Like fandoms, hobbies, dinosaurs...)
I think interests are pretty scattered across the System, come to think of it. It's not something we talk about frequently - A weird fact about the system?
I, Bard, am like 4 people in a trenchcoat, but definitely only one person, but I can interact with my me(s), and this causes great confusion. Pretty sure just some kind of median subystem thing going, but none of us have any real frame of reference. Another weird thing is the climate around the body affects the climate in headspace so Nobody Is Free From Suffering On Summer Days. Also My particular ability to be in headspace while fronting is so limited we have a designated Union Representative I talk to to catch up on how everyone else is doing because making the rounds gives mad headaches. - What about in-jokes?
The word Squirt has been banned (a la Moist), and anytime any of us remember that it is so, we use it with great prejudice. - What causes the most controversy (non-serious) amongst y'all? (Like food opinions, which way the toilet paper should hang - little things like that.)
Nothing actually comes to mind! Might update this one later when we rememberrrrrr - If your physical body could be anything that y'all wanted it to be, what would you make it?
