S. 686: (the RESTRICT Act) as introduced to the Senate, makes things like VPNs and AdBlock illegal. It makes freedom of speech and privacy on the internet a federal crime. All it would take make it illegal for any LGBTQ person to use the internet at all illegal is 'someone being appointed to Communications Secretary who doesn't like The Gays.' It's farcically bad.
