but it uses the British keyboard layout
it's an embarrassment that nobody's made a custom keycap set that has ƒ-keys exactly like a Micro.

as someone who is british and has been trying to adapt to a us keyboard layout: agh
Switching to a custom ortholinear keyboard layout a few years ago potentially saved me a lot of time and money I might have spent on retro computers. 😅
reason 1 of 2 why i have not yet bought a toshiba libretto (although i'm probably asking for it by actually being in the uk)
what's wrong witrh that. it's got a bigger enter key, so you can post harder
Why wouldn't you want a keyboard that lets you type mischievously narrowed eyes? ¦3
I keep on threatening to custom order one. Whatever typeface they used is absolutely lovely too, and it's actually a surprisingly nice keyboard to type on (at least by '80s micro standards)
I was thinking that's basically a bit-paired layout like were common back on old computers, and googling around I see it is, but the modern British layout has some similarities, which I didn't know!
Yeah, in hindsight I forgot that it's a fairly traditional bit-paired layout rather than UK, but yeah, the UK layout is closer to bit-paired than US, and after all, it is (potential hot take here) the quintessential British computer.
I didn't need these brain worms @selectric I really didn't. You know I didn't.
