like i get that the NSO stuff is part of their subscription service but surely there is a better way they could handle this that won't bite me in the ass when i'm somewhere with poor or no internet access? like maybe not putting 40-year-old games behind a subscription paywall?
fuck!! while i'm here, it pisses me off that a company as big and overflowing with cash as Nintendo just doesn't bother localizing any of the Japanese games they release on NSO. like English-speaking fans have been waiting for years to see more Starfy games, and when we finally get them, they're just the original unaltered Japanese ROMs. you want to enjoy the story? you want to navigate the menus? uhhh idk use Google Translate or something, idiot. we're too busy throwing money at our massive legal team to give a shit. by the way, translation hacks are illegal
