I listen to a lot of prog rock and power metal and stuff like that. I can't speak to the entire spectrum of genres on Spotify, but I've noticed a lot of smaller groups have these bios written in the third person talking about how cool and unique and interesting their music is. There's rarely any source for these claims so it's not like some sort of magazine or website or blog wrote these words. I can only assume the band members themselves or maybe someone from their label is writing this stuff and it just sounds so weird.
