Hi gang! I am reposting this because our plumbing issue has been resolved and so that brings our goal amount down a bit. However, we still need help!
Our stairs to our front entrance of the house are crumbling apart under our feet. They have been an issue for several years now, but we have not been able to afford replacing them. My dad is a kidney dialysis patient and is unable to work. Pretty much all money he gets from SSI goes towards his medical care or food, he doesn't have money leftover to contribute to the bills/home maintenance My mom, gf, and I are able to work, but with other issues we've had, it has been difficult for us to save enough money. My gf and I are also starting to have our hours at work get cut (we both work food service jobs)
This year both my gf and mom have fallen through the steps. My mom has two types of arthritis, so movement/walking in general is hard for her, but she has had a lot more issues since her fall. These steps are unsafe as is, but I am worried they will become totally unusable if we don't replace them this year.
I am going to attempt to charge this to my credit card because of how desperate we are to get these replaced this year, but I worry about how I will manage to pay it back. Even if the three of us split the bill, that is still a lot for us to try and figure out how to pay it back before interest starts to kick our ass.
