but i digress... about one week from now, Puzzle Wednesday is hosting a Yoshi's Cookie tournament (Challonge link here) - start time is 8:30pm EST on July 21st, 2 days before my birthday (i've been told the scheduling was coincidental, but hey... i won't look a gift horse in the mouth)
PW runs the NES version for its good netcode, but if you miss the colorful cookies and striped HUD of the SNES version, check out the romhack i made last year, Yoshi's Cookie Anniversary Edition - it's cosmetic-only, so it can be used in Fightcade, which is where i'll be loitering in the meantime, if anyone wants a practice match or two
