I'll be the first to scrutinize a game being over $60, but at least it'll be because I'm skeptical of publishers just wanting to squeeze more money out of you and seeing if they can do just that.
But I'll never put down or dismiss a game over it's length, or because it's 2D or indie. There's more to a game's value (personal, or otherwise) than wether or not it's a big 3D 100 household name title. It's just a needlessly reductive way to look a an abundance of fun things to check out.
Sometimes you just gotta say "This isn't for me." Or wait for a sale or whatever.
Being a hater is also a viable option.
