Here's a good video about it, it also sums up and spoils the whole plot in all it's 10 minutes if you don't plan on watching the whole thing. Or maybe it'll convince you to watch it, I don't know.
This one features one of my favorite characters and touches on Two different mental health conditions, neat. Great action too.
Anyways, it was fairly good. Apparently it only accidentally got turned into a slightly weird Justice League Unlimited thing, but I'm here for it. Especially since Jessica Cruz —the Green Lantern with anxiety and trauma— is one of my favorite modern (?) Conic book characters, so I'm obviously all for that.
Also it features a Star Boy, a dude with schizophrenia being treated... Slightly better than these things usually handle the subject. Like, it's absolutely cool that he's a hero and depicted as a fairly likable and relatable dude! Especially with him being a hero from the future, where conditions like his are optimistically accommodated for compared to the present.
It sucks that the story has him get stuck at Arkham Asylum, but I'm going to just assume that's intentional, to make a point ot two about dealing with mental health. And also an excuse for some Bruce Timm fan service (not the horny kind, surprisingly.)
Also Miss Martian is there. That's fun, probably breaks continuity, but who cares. Fun is more important.
