when I think of cutting edge video game graphics my first thought is always of sinister clown
when did nvidia or amd last show you 40~ fps ray tracing on a sinister clown. exactly
the power of the ps6 will allow us to render more sinister clown per teraflop then ever before. we will enter a golden age of technology
oh wow this was the 3D card we had in our family PC.
I don't recall any instances of it successfully accelerating a game
Yeah it could do texturing, but not bilinear filtering. So any game that needed that (i.e. 99.9% of them) was back to good old software. It was a total con.
We had that card as well and I think it didn't support OpenGL?
At least to play Q2 or Half Life in anything but software mode I needed a Voodoo2..
