More Super Nintendo oddities. Genghis Khan II: Clan of the Gray Wolf, which is actually the third Genghis Khan, is a much-ported strategy game, vying for world conquest. You explore terrain, trade, talk, recruit, fight and brave the elements, as you do in these things. This grand vision is said to have directly inspired the Mount & Blade titles.
The game, here on SNES, is another of the endless supply that didn't make it to Europe, in any of its versions. As ever... The US, also, had to make concessions, as the harem feature that has you create heirs was removed. It's actually about censorship in video games 🤬
Good news, bad news: Genghis Khan II was eventually modernized for Steam, fucking and all, but there is no supported English version.
