Famista 64 might not ring a bell or not even the series' full name, Family Stadium, but the game is culturally significant. For one, the prolific batter was a record holder for most games published in 1993 and still has over two dozen entries today.

More specifically, the 1997 baseball game was the first time that publisher Namco returned to Nintendo, after leaving for the bigger platform of Playstation. Though they wouldn't make many more Nintendo 64 games, these days the company and Nintendo are inseparable. This is the game that mended that relationship.

People in the US may have heard of the series' localized name: R.B.I. Baseball
