So, in the Final Mix release of the game, we get a few new fights to the game's bonus arena (among other things). And one of those battles is against Master Eraqus' previously unseen armor, accompanied by this fun new song that's fittingly based on Future Masters, the battle theme for The Land of Departure. It's a fun callback to the beginning of the game, and it basically gives the character voiced by Mark Hamil the epic and emotional theme that he deserves. Yoko Shimomura didn't have to go so hard on this one little extra piece of content, but she did (as always).
I'm surprised that they didn't go back and insert this into the main story when they remastered this for the HD collections. It would've been perfect for his fight. But Terra's theme plays there for a good reason. So it works out either way.
