I finished Pokemon Scarlet today! I also finished Legends Arceus a couple weeks ago before picking up Scarlet, and both mark the first time I hit credits in a Pokemon game since... the original Sapphire on GBA? Back in 2004??
I really enjoyed this one though, despite the game clearly having been shoved out the door way earlier than it should have been. it felt fresh and inviting, all by a team that seems to be trying very hard to turn the quality of the series around within the power they have. And dang, I know the feeling all too well of trying to make lemonade out of lemons. I can respect the hustle.
also this was maybe the most interesting professor I think the series has ever had.
