Oh N64 controller, how I hate you. Not your form factor (though I know most aren't fans) but just how your stick feels and how it grinds itself to dust. Since the stream plan going forward has more N64 (Bomberman Hero coming soon to the stream) I wanted to do a little surgery on my old pads. I have a N64 Brawler and N64 Retrobit Tribute but the sticks can be too oversensitive for some games and sometimes you need the old 3 prong nightmare.

i had hoped when they released those Switch online reissues that they'd be the same except for better stick durability, sadly reports suggest they will suffer the same problems
i regret missing out on the steel sticks and other metal parts that are no longer made / hard to buy now. still, i have one stick that is at like 85% performance. make sure you keep them lubed and it helps extend the parts' lifespan a lot.
