Here we go with a proper schedule again. I have to take Wednesday off but we'll still have lots of fun together. Tuesday I'll be playing the steam title that is burning up the charts, Devil Dumper Doris. Friday we begin Snakeman's RPG Rehab (oh, that could also be a series huh) with SaGa fan translation for Wonderswan. Saturday and Sunday are both up in the air and may include surprise streams. We'll see.
As for thoughts about a new series, I've been streaming so many anime games recently and while I do wish to take a break from it for a bit it did get me curious about streaming licensed anime fighting games. The series would be called Anime Assault and would be broken up into either series (Sailor Moon, DBZ, Gundam, etc), devs, or console (for the series with only 1 or 2 games). Might even consider adding beat em ups to it as well.
Since I think fighting games are more fun with another person, I'd like to collaborate with someone that both knows a thing or two about fighting games and the anime property of that episode. So each episode may have different guests considering. This is still a work in progress and I know I have a lot of dormant series including the collab specific Amiga Amigos, but I think it'd be a very good time. If you read this and we're friends or interact on discord/twitter/here and like some anime and fighting games then hit me up.
One thing that is difficult will be netplay solutions. While fightcade will cover most things arcade, SNES, & Genesis, Other systems like the X68K (It has a Sailor Moon fighter), Saturn, Gamecube, PS2, and handhelds will require different approaches like parsec or retroarch. I know for PS1 there is at least a duckstation branch that has rollback netplay so that helps.
