I play video games!

"Gee, Boooooo, why did you upload this random guest comic from a forgotten, 2000s-era gaming webcomic?"

Simple: I suddenly remembered this specific comic a year ago, I had a hell of a time finding it, and I didn't want to go through that hell again.

At the time, I couldn't remember the artist or even the name of the webcomic it was from. All I remembered was a cute mash-up of Patapon and Dr. Seuss. Having had a blast playing Patapon with my partner for the first time last year, and being a huge Dr. Seuss nerd, I knew I had to find it again.

It was almost impossible at first, as simply typing "patapon dr. seuss comic" turned up nothing. A "few" search refinements later lead me to the twitter of the artist in question. That tweet didn't have the comic itself, but it did have a link to it. One successful Wayback Machine search later, and I had it happily saved onto my phone.

Fast forward to last week. I was browsing through photos on my phone when I stumbled upon this again. A sudden dread hit me at that moment: between the slow death of twitter X: The Everything App, and Google's purposeful sabotage of their once functional search engine via AI sludge, this comic might be well and truly lost. If it was almost impossible to find a year ago, it would be absolutely impossible to find now.

The comic is still available on Wayback (huge cw for the rest of the comic/site), but if you wanted to find it, and only remembered the general mash-up or some vague vibes and nothing else? Yeah, good luck.
