Prey (2006) is honestly a fucking masterpiece. every setpiece is brilliant in its own way. 10/10.
as the last good game with 3d realms's/apogee's and human head's name on it, it still holds up incredibly well (well, aside from some very 'white guys writing native people' problems) and is extremely imaginative and well paced. not a second of that game is wasted, and it's a goddamn tragedy that you can't legally buy it anymore
fuck bethesda softworks for what they did to human head. may they be freed once again
I wish I could put into words how much I love Prey 2006. The only thing I can say about it is that I have yet to play Prey 2017 because I'm not sure it can ever live up to the original game. Because as fun as "Prop Hunt System Shock" sounds, I don't think it will ever beat "Portal with Living Guns" for me.
