I remember playing the demo of this on a demo disc as a kid. The demo disc was setup so that each game was its own room on a 3D space station, and some of the games were even hidden IIRC.

The fact that I liked walking around the space station more than playing this game should tell you everything you need to know about it. I was super pissed about that, because I remember being thrilled upon loading this up and seeing the fully animated intro with voice acting.

Interestingly, 7th Level's Arcade America was also on that demo disc, and I remember enjoying it much more even though it's roughly the same quality.

This was one of those "Holy Grail" games I desperately wanted to play as a kid, but the demo would never work on any system that I tried! When I finally sat down to play the Redux version I bought off GOG, I was disappointed to find that it's not particularly great. Absolutely immaculate vibes and aesthetic, however, and one that I'm not sure can be recaptured.
