Hi! You can call me Key, or Gem, or Scarf, or something else!
This is my main page, and prior to Dec 8th, 2023, my posts were all on this page. Posts before that date range in subject matter from furry transformation to foam dart blaster reviews, but now I have separate pages for a few of these categories.
For gamedev and other game design talk, check out @DevGem.
To be inundated by the relentless furryposting of a TF-obsessed magic-user, visit @MagicScarf.
If you like toys, or if you’re bored, give @CollectorKey a look.
I’m asexual, and also very gender-fluid, so don’t worry too much about pronouns.

There were a lot of really cool birds. I didn’t take pictures of any of them for some reason. Instead, have these non-bird-related things!

There was this thing where you could color in an animal and scan it into this digital scene and they’d walk around for a bit. Of course I picked a raccoon, and immediately tried to think of how to do funny things with the system (without resorting to anything foul). I came up with three things:

  1. Give the animal a silly name (meet Hurgusburgus!)
  2. Give the animal goofy-ass eyes
  3. Scan the same image multiple times to print a whole flock of your beautiful creation into being (sadly but understandably limited to three instances of Hurgusburgus, I think?)

So yeah, idk why they had this at the aviary, but it was cool and I had a silly time with it. I of course kept my masterpiece and will cherish it forever.

I also bought a bat plush for like 10$ in the gift shop! Her name, according to the tag, is Bathilda, which is adorable. I’m not always one for sticking to the name on the tag but I don’t know if I’ll come up with something better than Bathilda.
