World of Horror (which I played in early access a few years ago, and tried again this week) feels like a simplified Akrham Horror: The Card Game, but it just doesn't work anywhere near as well for me. The 1/2-bit pixel art looks really nice though (and crazily enough, the artist made all of the art work equally well in 1 or 2-bit mode)!
The benefit and curse of this over AH:LCG comes in two parts. 1. It tries to condense a campaign into one bite-size session, leading to very short scenarios, and 2. the scenarios are picked at random, leading to potentially fairly varied play sessions, and unfortunately, also to a very low level of narrative persistence between each part of those sessions.
(The Shoot is NSFW furry TF) With BSB's paycomics I can always expect two things: great expressions, and a deep feeling of envy. I've been feeling like I really, really want to have paws for the past week, and The Shoot certainly is keeping those feelings going, haha
